Faith and Justice zoom meetings are designed for college-age students and young adults in North America who are interested in learning more about restorative justice themes and practices within a faith-based context. Anyone is welcome to attend, and the meetings function like a revolving door with both new and repeated content.
The Fall 2021 schedule will host F & J meetings every other Tuesday evening:
- Oct 12
- Oct 26
- Nov 9
- Nov 23
- Dec 14
- Dec 28
- Jan 11
- Jan 25
Save dates and jot down the proper times in your calendar:
- 7:00 to 8:00 pm Eastern
- 6:00 to 7:00 pm Central
- 5:00 to 6:00 pm Mountain
- 4:00 to 5:00 Pacific
What can you expect from a meeting?
Each hour will include a welcome / intro time, a short presentation on a restorative justice topic, a biblical passage or story that illuminates restorative justice, time for questions and discussion, a breakout session for discussion applications, a closing time for final reflections. Now and then the topic will broaden out into the fields of conflict resolution and healthy communications.
All meetings are facilitated by Ted Lewis and are assisted by student leaders from Calvin Peacemakers at Calvin University, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
